22 month old Urine smells sweet ??

What can cause my 22 month old urine to smell sweet ??
She has been sick alot  a very poor appetite, trouble sleeping and a low grade fever for about a month .. This is just a few things .,

Well she went for her weight check she had lost 4 oz in one week her doc is doin a fasting sugar test and checking her thryiod again and we go bk in month for another weight check

She still not wantin to eat we just keep stuff out for her to get I have not gave her a Gatorade for a while .. The past few nights she has slept ok .. She is with me all day

ah yes you said 2 hours ..well she is two see if you cut it back a bit ..is she with you all day or go to day care ?

okay do not get disheartened ..back to square one ...so how about you discontinue the Gatorade and give her water ,how is her appetite now and her sleeping, does she sleep long during the day ?

Bone scan was normal ...  
All of this is good but we still don't have any answers and this makes me very upset ... I think her doc is dun lookin she says that's there's nothin else to test her for ...
I just want answers never thought it would be like this ...
She goes for a weight check tommrow

All bloodwork came bk ok we are now waitin on her bone scan results

Ok thanks .. I do give her sum water and the gatorde I give her is clear also  I'll ask her pediatrian abot doing a fasting then doin a sugar test

What is it she drinks , very yellow is dark it should be a paler yellow, I would give her more liquids  and in my opinion water is okay .Best is to ask for the fasting  glucose test they will know which to do ,

Yes she drinkin enough I keep a close eye on her fluid intake .. Her urine isnt really dark but is very yellow  she drinks a least 32 ozs

She could be hypoglycemic ,her sugar may go up and down , they will be able to tell you when you have it tested ,is the color of the urine a darker color,and  is she drinking enough liquids.

If she does take a nap it only a hr 2 .. I have notice the sweet smell more recently ... But urine has a strong smell .. And she has not had any thing sweet to eat. But. I been Givin her sum gatorade so her sugar would not drop ... They are tested have her twice to check glucose the first time when she was sick it was down to 50 and I have not received the results of this test .. But on ethier test she didn't fast

Has she ever been tested for diabetes?

Have you noticed that recently or has it always been like that  has she been eating or drinking sweet food.there have been virus going round and she may have a mild bladder infection, it would seem like a good idea to have her checked out .for appetite, at this age they enjoy finger foods and eat themselves she may eat more that way .Does she sleep during the day , many children of this age do not sleep well at nights if they are napping for long during the day, what is her nightime routine ?
