2yrs. and NOT walking

My 2 year old is not walking yet. OT said she was fine but her brothers walked at 8 and 9 months. What can I do to get her to walk? She cruises, crawls and will walk with stiff legs (not bending her knees) with the assistance of either a walker or by holding someone's hands but only for 1-2 minutes.

As she has stiff' legs and  it seems at 2 year old a bit late I think a check up at the doctor's is in order, she may just be a late bloomer but it would set your mind at rest. Let us know how she gets on ...

An occupational therapist says she is fine?  Two does seem a little late.  You might seek a second opinion.

Hi, Just encourage lots of floor play is all I would suggest. She will walk in her own time. If you are really worrried get a refferal to see paed and have a thourough check up. Take care she will be fine
