8 month old with possible ear infection.

My son is teething right and has been for two months, he has never been sick or had ear infections but for about a month now i have noticed his rubbing at his ears or pulling on them. He doesnt have a fever but is fussy more than normal but i just related that to the teething. Could he have an infection still?

I am going through this with my LO. When we took her to the doctors there was not infection or anything. They told us that the teeth nerves run by the ears. When the nerves hurt from teething the child will pull on his or her ears. I hope that helps.
