Baby Teeth

My 18 month old tripped and chipped her front tooth. I am just wondering if there is anyone that has had this happen. And did they get there adult teeth in ok and are they ok no serious later damage. ETC...I am so upset I tried to catch her but missed and its my fault I should've reacted faster when I saw her start falling. I am taking her in Monday to a pedeatric dental specialist to make sure there is nothing more serious and to see if they can do anything for her. I feel so bad.

no worries, I chipped my tooth at a very young age and have nice teeth now as an adult. it's not your fault, please don't beat yourself up over it. kids have accidents and fall. it's all part of life.

They will assure you I am sure no permanent damage to her next teeth but she will wait for it to come out so whether they will put some protection on it so she eats okay I am not certain, I expect her other teeth will come in okay.Stuff happens , my daughter fell against the corner of a door and this age and has a scar so it could be worse ...
