Bullseye mark on 2 yr olds right buttock?

We discovered small mark, maybe the size of the end of a pen (non-pointy side). It is very neat and perfectly round. We actually thought it was an indention from a button the first day. It's faded maybe a little, but not much. There is a red dot inside of a perfect red circle, with normal skin coloring in between. We haven't seen any ticks on him. And he has had ring worm in the past and it doesn't look anything like that. It is not scaly or raised even the slightest.. please help us out! We can't get into the doctors until Thursday. We just want to be more aware of what it could possibly be. Thanks in advance.

A bullseye rash is actually a sign of a tick bite that needs to be examined right away.  Please let us know what the doctor says. Lyme disease is a serious condition passed by tick bites but only certain locations really have a high incidence of this so don't assume. But am glad you are getting it checked out tomorrow.  Definitely will be back to see what the doctor has said!  good luck
