CPP - lupron v supprelin

Our daughter (age 8) diagnosed CPP - bone age 10 - weighing pros/cons supprelin v lupron - aware of practical advantages of supprelin - however, only one published study on its clinical efficacy  - what is current medical opinion on how it compares to lupron in suppressing LH?

Hi! I am struggling with treating CPP with Lupron. What did you do with your child and how did it work out? it's a hard decision!

This also for vidanb74 and others ...I have just put in a request on The Improve  Med Help Suggestions forum to start a new advanced Bone age forum..if you take a look you could also add a  post onto mine ..the powers that be will look into it for us ..

If you scroll down you will see there are some parents who have children with advanced bone age ..there is also  a family medicine forum that may be able to give advice,about 3 posts back another member is enquiring similar ..If you go to the Improve Med Help Suggestions forum ..its on the list, you can also put in a request for a new forum regarding Advanced bone age .good luck

Hi 5k run.  My daughter is 7 years old (diagnosed with precocious puberty) and has a bone age of 9 and she is about to go on either Lupron or Supprelin.  I am scared either way and am having trouble making the decision.  I am looking for feedback or messageboards/groups with other parents opinions on this.  What did you end up going with for your daughter and what were the pros and cons?  Would you do it again?  Thank you.
