hmmmm.....could be, but I think its more of a kid thing. They're germier, LOL. The pharmacist did tell me that if the cream doesn't work in a week, to see the doctor again for a different type of cream, and not to use longer than that since it's an antibiotic.
P.S. I also love that I wrote "Lick lipping"....hahaha.....I have a newborn....can ya tell? ;o)
Very interesting mamawith2girls. I use that cream for the inside of my nose because I have this scabby thing that wont go away. I wonder it its impetigo
It may not be this, but every time my 3 year old daughter gets a cold, she gets impetigo. It looks just like chapping, and sometimes gets scabby like a cold sore. That's what we thought it was, but it's not. Impetigo was once thought to be dirty, but all it is is when the skin becomes raw from lick lipping and runny nose, etc, bacteria gets in there. If it persists, talk to your doc. We use an antibiotic cream called Fucidin. Hopefully it's just regular chapping, though. Good luck!
Or, a natural-product type of chapstick, or that Neosporin or Polysporin that is in a greasy base that is similar to Vaseline. Or Aquaphor.
VASELINE and lots of it. Put it on at night and it will almost be gone the next morning. Just keep putting it on :) My daughter gets this all the time
