Groin pain in 5 year old

My 5 year old has been complaining of pain, the very top of his leg near his genitals. He is limping and complaining for about 2 days. I thought he might have pulled a muscle, but after a few days, i am a little concerned. What could this be? And should I see a pediatrician?
