I have a 2 1/2 year old that has a cold and a cruppy cough, started night before last. Today he has been coughing more and breathing weird, short breaths and tummy expanding. He has been wanting to sleep all the time, should I be worried?

If he has trouble breathing as you describe I would say yes and have him checked by the doctor as soon as you can..he may need meds to clear it up ,has he any fever. Is he eating and importantly drinking fluids ?
