Stomach bug or Teething?

- My 1 year old has the stomach bug or something close to it. He has a runny nose and coughs now and then not a whole lot. I been making sure he stays hydrated, eats, gets plenty of rest, and doesn't come into contact with his 1 month old brother. I'm writing this 2day cause I'm not sure if its the stomach bug or something else. Someone told me that when they are teething they can have the same symptoms. He hasn't been throwing up but did spit up his orange juice this morning. I've been keeping an eye on him. He hasn't had fever.

He could have a stomach bug or it could be teething. I would stay away from anything citrus if he is having diarrhea. Feed him a brat diet. This consists of bananas, rice, applesauce and wheat toast. These are easy on the stomach and can they can help bind his food to lessen the diarrhea. Doing this and giving him a pro biotic will help his bowels get back to normal. Stay away from sugary snacks or drinks. I am sure he will be better in a few days.

they do say that the actual cutting of a tooth can make them unwell, have a look in his mouth to see if another tooth is coming through. Has he any siblings at school as they bring home every germ imaginable and nothing you can do about it.You are doing the right thing if it last more than another day or two have him checked over ,one other thought what was he eating just before he got sick ,in case its food related .

He's been having diarreha. yesterday, it was liquidy and today its wet but looks like its trying to get back to normal. I been letting him rest and have pedilite and or water with him while he's resting in his crib.

I didn't know that teething could take a toll on a little one like this. I wasn't sure if it was the stomach bug, the heat, or teething. Just want my little guy to feel better.
