Very high ASO titre

My son is 5 yrs old.
few days back, i came to knew that
'ASO titre' in his blood was 1500 IU/ml and ESR was 28.
He has pain in joints and he was frequently suffering from fever and cold

Would you please tell me what are the consequences and how he will suffer in future.

at one month back he had fever but no sore throat, but after wakening up at morning, we had observed some stiffness in right leg and unable to walk properly

I asked about the sore throat as I was thinking Strep , what diagnosis did the doctor have after the blood test did he say why the ASO titre was high ?

he had no sore throat and the doctor said nothing about the reason for high ASO except that giving prophylactic antibiotics i.e penidure injection
