14 yr old daughter has premature abdominal fullness

My 14 year old daughter has been feeling full after eating only a small amount of food.  It has been going on for a while, but didnt think much of it as she didnt really complain about it.  But tonight she said it lasted longer than usual.  She ate some low fat potato chips and a little piece of an apple for snack.  She got full from that and couldnt eat her dinner a few hours later.  The only other thing that might be related is that her stools are very large and have been for years.  I was searching on the internet and didnt like what I was reading.  I got really worried.  Any input would be very appreciated.  She is saying now she is ok and does not want to to go dr.  I am going to keep a log of what she is eating and when she starts to feel full afterwards so I can tell the dr. something.

I know how you feel ...take a step back it really sounds as if she may be constipated so may be some more fruit/veg in her diet and try a probiotic yoghort for break fast with a slice of toast ..how does she get on at school, how is she with friends .?

Her weight is perfect...shes about 112 lbs and 5'1".  I asked her today and she said she did eat her lunch, and felt full afterwards, but she said it was a normal full, and not like last night.   I may be a hands on mom, but I have my own health issues, and it makes me worry so much that might kids might not be healthy.   Im so scared they might find something bad.

Thanks for your help.  I get so wound up and so worried.  I was looking at what it could be from her symptoms and it just made me really upset.  She seems to eat ok other times of the day.  She is in school now, but i pack her a lunch everyday--turkey/cheese sandwich, fruit, and small snack.  She eats a small breakfast, either cereal or waffle with peanut butter. I am going to take notes on her symptoms and what she is eating.  I made an appt with her pediatrician for Oct. 10th.  I wanted to see a certain dr. in the group and thats the earliest I could get.  She doesnt want to go to the dr., but who does??  Im afraid they will make her have evasive tests.

Does she eat okay other times of the day you have'nt noticed that she doesn't eat ? Probiotics may help if she is constipated which is my guess as a possibility, you can get them in yoghort in the stores.. Make notes of what she eats in a day and discuss with her any concerns she may have .

No....I wasn't thinking that at all.  I was looking up her symptoms on the internet and saw things it could be.  Anorexia or bulimia really did not cross my mind.  Im 100% sure that is not the problem.

Are you thinking she has an eating disorder?

I am still recovering from Bulimia and Anorexia and when I used to starve myself and then had to eat my stomach felt full quick.
