bursies on back??

my 2 year old son get these bursies on his back on the spine area, he has not fallen to hurt is back or hit anything!! is that a sign of cancer? or something eles? i'm going to be calling the doc on monday but i would like to know what it could be now. any repsonses would be great...thanks...
