My 10 year old daughter is always complaining of being cold. This summer she has been wearing heavy fleece pajamas. She used to love going swimming and now she will get in the water for a little bit ( I used to have trouble getting her out of the water ). When she gets out she is always freezing and saying she is cold. She is not as active as she was before and usually is laying on the couch covered up with a heavy blanket or two. Any suggestions?
Have you expressed this to her doctor? There are a few common reasons children feel cold - anemia, thyroid problems, etc. that are pretty easy to diagnose.
