Good luck and I will keep you in our prayers. Being a mom is hard enough and then to go through this - stay strong and God's speed.
As a mother of a child with developmental issues, I would suggest your child to be seen by a neurologist. Please, so not listed to anyone who sugggest anything without your child having the proper tests. Make sure they perform all the test you can find out there; trust me, I had to fight to figure out what was wrong with my little one. Forget about autism, it is diagnosed between 18 and 24 months old.
Good luck and I will praying for you baby. God Bless him!
I am glad he is being seen quickly. Your doctors have narrowed this down pretty much, but they need to look at the whole picture so they can rule out all possiblities. I will pray for you and your family. You should have answers soon.
thank you for your comments. child in children's hospital now. CT shows scattered calcification in the brain. urine test shows high white blood cell count in urine. lactic acid present in the blood but ph is normal. blood urea nitrogen is normal. going for MRI now. not aure what all this means. the rest of the CBC is not back. Too early to diagnose? or are the docs withholding info until they are sure. what could the possibilities be?

I would consult with pediatric children's hospital unit for specialists in endocrinology or neurology. the child cannot afford to regress much more
