My son is two and three months. Last week was diagnosed with an ear infection, by Saturday started with fever and I noticed eye blinking, had a hoorible night. Took him to Childrens urgent care. They confirm the ear infection and told me he had a viral process in the throat. The blinking continued and at the clinic they told us it was a "hang up" he picked up in daycare. Went back to pediatrician two days later to follow up, and mentioned the blinking to her she told us he had a strep, he was already in antibiotics due to ear so blinking has subside because throat is also better. Thus us an autoimmune system response that he is having to the infection, Im super concern, and want to know how can I help him....Anybody?!?!?!
my grand-son started repeatedly "blinking" both his eyes repeatedly for no reason 2 days ago. he says they dont hurt or anything, but he has suffered from styes since he was born!
My son has stopped blinking his eyes. But i'm still worried that it may come back. Any advice in that ? Is there anything as a transient "tic"
My son has tics and your doctor should give you more info than that...It might not go away. My son is 11 and he started w/ the eye blinking at the age of 8. It took a while for the us to find out what the problem was. Of course we thought he needed glasses. This is very serious and should not be shrugged off as a tic and it will go away...
