infection in wound

My son had pins removed from his wrist about 10 days ago.
It seems to have been healing well, however, today it seems very pink around the wounds and swollen.
What can I put on it for now until I can go to the doctors tomorrow?

I'd also try a soak, either in Epsom salts or a solution of white vinegar and water. Then Neosporin, as pheonix said.

I also pins removed from my ankle. I would put neosporin on ot untill u go. Also leave the bandage off. It could b nuthin tho, remember it has to get worse b4 it gets better!
