4yo vomiting at night...worried.

Hi all,
I have a 4yo son, who for the most part, is very healthy.

Thursday night at around 9pm, he had some hot tea with sugar with almond milk, and about 45 mins later he came to me feeling nausea and vomited for about 10 mins. He also felt shaky. Then he fell asleep. In the morning he was fine.

Now tonight (Sunday) the same thing happened. He had some oatmeal with raisins, coconut milk and sugar (we are vegetarian/vegan), and about 10 mins later, he started the same thing again. Nauseousness, and then he vomited once. Then fell asleep.

During the day he eats the same things he has always been eating. Mainly tofu, breads, rice, beans, and other snacks. I try to give him lots of water. He prefers juice and is always thirsty, and asking for juice.

I thought maybe he was overeating, since he seems to always be hungry these last 2 weeks, which i thought might be a growth spurt. But, he always tells me when he's full and won't eat anymore.

This just doesn't seem normal to me. He was diagnosed with an outer ear infection last week Monday, but i'm not sure that would cause this. He is on ear drops Locorten-Vioform.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening. I'm getting a bit worried :( and feeling very helpless. I'll probably take him to the dr. but just wanted to get some input from others.

Thanks.

It could be a food allergy , maybe the  nuts , also I would cut back on Juice it has a lot of sugar ..water is better .So two things, cut back on sugar could be a sugar level problem going on , and cut out the nut milks for a few days see if it clears up. I would also take him to the Doctor for a check up. good luck let us know how he is doing .
