should my little boy repeat prep? Is there a deveopmental problem?

Hi,

We have been in Australia for the past 10 months and it's also the year my little boy started prep.  At home he is able to log onto a computer, go onto sites that interest him with no direction as well as figure out how to use technical devices like iPhones in a short space of time  He is now able to identify words, count,  is learning to spell and is capable of remembering an entire childrens cartoon or documentary verbatim. His teacher has said that his numeracy and literary skills at school are pleasing.   However he is not able to do the following at school :

Follow instructions
Carry out a task given, without it being explained on a one to one basis
Cannot concentrate on a task for very long without becoming distracted, unless it is a task that interests him, like planes and computers.
His most difficult lesson is PE as he cannot follow the instructions.
He often needs assistance to change and pack his bag and so on.
Seems to be having a problem with receptive language.

Can you please help?  Does my little one have a developmental problem?  Is he just finding it a little difficult to adjust after our move?  Should I keep him in Prep for an extra year?
