can i give my 3 year old an adult suppository?

YES. but cut it in half then cut the 1/2 in2     4ths

It's never a good idea to give a child an adult medication or treatment, and that is even more true for a young child.  Please talk to your pediatrician about the issue that you are thinking needs a suppository.
