okay well how about dancing a jig...lol or jumped up and down and made funny faces I bet she would soon be laughing, after the initial shock ...I found when mine wre little that they loved noise ans music, and I thought I was the worlds best ballerina ...lol so I danced around all day .it was surprising how they enjoyed it haha not that I expect he can do ballet ....
haha that is great advice and yes he is gone alot because he is a farmer but honestly i just don't see him singing anything!!
My guess is that he isn't around her a lot ? perhaps she still views him as a stranger ...so very gradually introduce Dad a bit more ...I have heard and seen this many times ..Mom is there all the time but Dad has to leave , has to go to 'work' and anyway its always about moms with new borns.. isn't it ...so when dad is there have both of you in the picture, put the little one in between you so she knows you in fact are '[one'and he is part of the picture, do it slowly so you don't freak her out, then let him hold her more tell him to talk to her, sometimes we have to lead them by the nose..haha the dads I mean .babies love the human voice its soothing, get him to sing some of the olde english nursary rhymes...they are wonderful
