I would ask for a lumbar MRI. An L5-S1 disc herniation could cause these symptoms
I am so sorry you are experiencing this pain. I have also experienced chronic pain that the doctors didn't know how to treat. You said you had a lot of tests done. Have you had a dynamic MRI for pelvic organ prolapse done yet? That would certainly rule out prolapse, which would give you other options to pursue such as lumbar, sacrum, coccyx injuries. You could certainly have nerve injury or inflammation. Amitryptilene is a good drug to start with to see if that helps with nerve sensitivity, it's not a narcotic. Vaginal Valium might help with spasms. Other drugs that might help with nerve issues are Lyrica, gabapentin. I would also suggest a good pain specialist to help you with your pain. Unfortunately you will have to keep digging till you find answers and or relief. Trust your instincts about your body, you know it better than anyone. A lot of us have been on the same journey and time is on your side, you will find answers and you will get better. I suffer from pudendal nerve pain so know how hard and hopeless things can be. I am in a lot better place now and so can you. Good luck
So sorry to hear of your pain and lack of information.
Did you have mesh for your repairs? How hard was the jolt you had in the accident? Can you go back to your Gynae/Urogyne who did your repairs?
Are you still having spinal tingling or pain in your spine and is this in the lower part of you back?
I wonder if you could get a second opinion with regards to a check on your prolapse repairs as well as pudendal tests.
Dont give up. It may well be that you simply havent found the right consultant for you. Drs dont understand everything re:cross over conditions into other specialities.
Is the pain you have the same type of pain you had before your prolapse operations?
Keep asking the questions debbie5214.
