People Are Allergic To Me (PATM)

People are allergic to me. And a lot of other people around the world are suffering from this condition. Doctors do not beleive the reports, and most of them claim that we are crazy but we all know that we're far from being crazy. This condition causes so much heartache and stress. I have sent emails to CDC, NIH and WHO with no help. Would you please address this issue?

Just so everyone knows, I posted a question about our condition on a Doctor-to-Patient forum. So far there has been no answer, they're several days behind in posting answers. I assume someone on our old thread had asked them (MedHelp drs) before, but i figured it couldn't hurt to try again.

Yes HOLY, as we reached the limit on the other thread that's why I started this one, so we can continue our very supportive forum.
Thanks guys, and keep posting. Hopefully some day we will find help. Thanks.

I have done the saliva test several times in the past few years and it tested positive. I should note however that doctors disagree with the test. But is seems accurate to me.

I have done the spit test too: positive.

I also tested positive with the spit test. Has anyone had a friend or relative try the test just to see a negative result?

There is a negative result on my message board: http://www.geocities.com/fecalbodyodor/thereisacure.html?1168718719490

The fist time I tested positive, I had done the candida treatment. I think it worked because at some point I did the test several times and it was negative. I was so happy. Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.

Thanks for sharing. We need more personal stories so we can determine if Candida is indeed the cause. Please do the spit test everyone!

I think this makes a lot of sense fecalbodyodor. I agree with you that I may have stopped too early. And I also think that if candida has ovecome the other bacteria, that have built foundations to defend themselves against any newcomers. I think you're absolutely right. At least it makes sense. However, as I said before, doctors do not believe in this. So it's going to take skills to convince them that we need candida treatment when they don't believe we're sick. I was lucky to have my doctor agree to prescribe medicines against anaerobic bacteria and fungus. Hopefully if I add that to the probiotic and exercise plus drinking plenty of water, eating right, and reducing stress, things will get better. I have found some relief by using probiotics. But I don't want to encourage anyone to take them if that's not what they really need. As I said earlier, if it aint broke dont fix it. I know I need it because in addition to my causing others allergic reactions I have all types of body odors plus chronic constipation. So I know probiotics should help me some. I will keep you posted. Thanks guys, and keep posting.

I am also currently treating my candida.  I am seeing a nutritionist/ND to test for mineral/vitamin deficiencies and to treat candida also.  I am starting on anti-depressants, which are also known to help candida.  I have the white tongue too.

I too used a drug called ThreeLac for treating Candida. There was less problems when I was using it, but the strange symptoms reappeared when i stopped. I cannot afford to buy that drug from US as I have to pay the customs duty everytime here.I am not 100% sure that is worked but it helped upto some certain point.

One more thing I observed. For the past 10 days is that I almost stopped eating non-vegetarian and there were less symptoms and yesterday I had a simple fried Chicken Sandwich and the problem started... Now I am 100% convinced that soon I should take the path of a vegeterian or even vegan.

I continue to look for the results of others,

Have a nice day pals,

Maybe you were getting rid of your candida but didn't fully get rid of it.  If you don't keep at it, it will still be there, even if you did the diet/anti-fungals for a while.  You need to make sure you fully got rid of it because it could be the source of the dysbiosis creating this allergic gas.  It might also be that since we have candida, there aren't that many good bacteria, and it might be that all we need is good bacteria to combat these gases that are being produced.  So we can't up our good bacteria just by taking probiotics, we have to have the environment in which they can survive and grow, a candida infested intestine is the reason they won't grow.  This is what I'm hoping anyway.

Check this out: http://www.mightymicrobes.com/products/em-food-grade.php

Maybe besides getting rid of candida (or whatever), we should be growing a thick garden of good bacteria in the gut.  This talks about helping to reduce the bad bacteria too.  I am thinking about doing this to repopulate my body after I've gotten rid of my candida.

I'm curious if everyone on this forum has had constipation as a recurrent problem. I'm not now, but was all during childhood up until a few years ago (when I started having daily bowel movements). I also consumed mass quantities of milk and sweets as a child and into adulthood. Plus started drinking beer on a semi regular basis about 12 yrs ago. These things would make candida overgrowth a definite possibility acoording to all accounts. This  may explain why my symptoms have decreased somewhat since drastically changing my diet, plus being regular. Sounds plausible, but who really knows?

Actually my constipation started about two years ago, and comes and goes. But I have been free for about 6 months. Prior to two years ago I never had constipation before.

I have found my symptoms are usually less pronounced after a B movement. And since i've been on the anti-candida program I usually have 2 BMs a day and my symptoms have decreased (they are still there though:( )  Anyone have similar observations?

Gosh, candida is coming out of me EVERY day, but the coughing and sneezing persists.  I don't even notice a DECREASE in symptoms, but since it is coming out of me I will keep at it.  I might just have a ton of candida.  It might be that I need to repopulate my gut with good bacteria which I will do after I've gotten rid of more candida.  I took a bunch of anti-fungals last night and got a really bad stomach ache, which I think is a good  sign that they are working.  My tongue is getting pinker and pinker!  I also did a probiotic enema last night and this seemed to create gas, because after I let the stuff come out, I continued to have long wind that seemed to be produced from the colon, not the stomach.  An hour after the probiotic enema I ran to the bathroom again and a chunk of white candida came out with some kind of black stuff on it (could this be the culprit bacteria?).  It did seem that putting probiotics up there created some kind of fight (bad against good).

I found a person on the MSN body odor support forum who had a bad odor for a long time and then the odor went away after being treated for H. Pylori, but then the coughing and sneezing started after that.  Interesting.  Another person on the MSN board said he was also treated for H. Pylori and then the coughing/sneezing started!

Question: Do any of you burp a lot?

Here is a thread that should be read: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=561071#i
Read the replies to that link also.  That is A LOT of probiotics, more than I've seen anyone take.  I'm planning on doing this after I've gotten rid of more candida.  Hitting the probiotics hard and long.

You once said that you were diagnosed with GERD.  The people I found on the MSN board said that the coughing and sneezing started for them AFTER they treated their H. Pylori.  I just read that treating H. Pylori makes GERD worse because there is more HCL being produced coming into the esphogus.  I notice that I burp A LOT.  I wonder if we are producing gasses in our stomach that we cannot hold in.

Hi,

I have just diagonized with GERD only but negative to H.Poly bacteria. I have to tried variety of medicines (including homeo) for GERD but nothing works. Usually I don't blurp a lot. But there is lot of pain (not pain exactly but sort of strange feeling on the upper part of the stomach and doctors say this is common due to GERD)

But I must say that I felt a lot better with had the candida related drug (Called Threelac bought from US). Usually I feel worse during the winter. Nowdays I feel much better bcos I almost quit eating meat and eating outside. Just vegeterian and no processed food. May be we all can try this path and see the results (I know it is diffcult for the people who follow western style diet)

Best Regards,
Holy

Holy, I think you should take another blood test for H. Pylori. I just got a positive blood test three days ago, after being negative 6 months ago. Tests are not always accurate, and there are false positives and false negatives. So it's best to do it again, just to make sure. Fecalbodyodor, it is interesting that those people associate their PATM with the treatment of H. pylori. In my case my PATM condition is certainly not caused by treating GERD because I just got a positive test. I have had this PATM since 2003 before the issue of constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, heartburn, or GERD. But H. pylori may have been there non detected. I am currently being treated for it, and at the same time candida and anaerobic bacteria are being killed with proper medication, probiotics, and diet. Hopefully this will provide me much needed relief. Good luck guys. And keep faith.

Good job you guys.  HH - I am very curious to see if your problems go away once you've gotten rid of your H. Pylori, bacteria and candida.  These things don't disappear over night though.  It's tough....we will get there though.  It is just a matter of putting the puzzle pieces together.

Holy - I am vegan (have been for 3 years) and am now doing to candida diet on top of the vegan diet.  I do admit that I started eating fish once or twice a week though for protein.  Other than that, the diet is boooring.  I do make these delicious kamut pancakes though, I put stevia (herbal sweetener) in the batter, and cinnamon, and then instead of syrup, I spread coconut oil on the pancake and then sprinkle it with FOS (a sweet, sugar-like powder that you cannot digest so it goes straight to your intestines where it FEEDS good bacteria and cannot be used by candida/bad bacteria).

About killing bad bacteria.  There is a probiotic - E. Coli Strain M17 that kills bad bacteria while promoting good bacteria.  It is GOOD E. COLI, not the harmful kind, it is a specific strain.  http://biofarma.kiev.ua/eng/products/ats/a/a07/a07f/A07FA_/A07FA50/198.html
There is also this claim of cure:
http://groups.msn.com/BodyOdorSupport/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=4926&LastModified=4675511684816689090

The only thing is that when I do the probiotics, I want to do about 5,000 Billion a day because I've been taking a lot and it's not doing anything.  So I want to make sure my candida is under control, and have treated possible H. Pylori (with mastic gum), probiotics last because I will be buying hundreds of dollars of probiotics.

I am glad I have you guys to talk to because you give me hope.  It is hard, but we will put this puzzle together!
