New mommy

KDQ
Hi mommies! I am due with my first (a girl) in 18 days. I just wanted to introduce myself; My name is Katie, I am 23 years old and have been married to my wonderful husband for 4 years. This is our first and we are getting anxious to meet her. Any advice for a new mommy to be? Labor does not scare me at all. I am getting very nervous about bringing home a new baby though.

I know you probably want her to come out, but enjoy being pregnant! I can't tell you how much I miss it. My son is now 12 weeks old and he is truly a blessing. Being a Mom is great. The first 6 week's are a little tough because you are both getting used to each other. Once you get the hang of it it's fine. My son smiles and laughs now and it just melts my heart. Make sure to do your kegals afterwards too. Make sure your husband helps you as much as possible. It gets tough at times. But overall it will definitely bring you guys closer.  Congratulations and hope you have a smooth labor!

Congratulations! My best advice is don't sweat the small stuff. The laundry and dishes can wait. If people offer help take it. If you need help ask. Enjoy your little girl and take tons of pictures because they grow up so fast.
