baby cereal

i have a 3 1/2 month old baby. she drink a 5 oz bottle about every 2 hours, sometimes sooner. i was thinking about starting her with baby rice cereal. she seems hungry still after a bottle. i read everywhere that you shouldnt start till 4 months old. my doctor reccomends 4 months also. i was just wondering when did you mommies start with the cereal? any bad experiences from starting early? im so back and forth with this...

I read some moms started their child early on rice cereal and started baby food at 4 months kinda threw me off and im right there with tomorrow..just feed her if she is hungry nothing wrong with a baby that likes to eat hahaha mine was the same way and now he eats rice cereal and he is almost 5 months I waited a lil longer..try buying a 6oz bottle maybe that 1 ounce will help :)

I started all 3 of my children on cereal after 4 months old. The reason they recommend waiting until 4 months or older is because there digestive system may not be able to process it and getting it younger increases the chances of them being allergic to it.
