HI,
I just started with the help of provera and will be taking clomid 100mg cd 5-9
I just started taking metformin on dec 2nd! I am only taking 500mg right now but will be taking 1000mg soon
Was this your first round of clomid? This is my 3rd round!
My doc recently confirmed that i have PCOS but I have known since I was a teenager since I had all the symptoms of it, I just never asked. It was never really a problem since I was on the pill and having regular periods. I have been off the pill for 4 years and my periods were 2 times a year and then nothing at all for over a year. My Dh and I were TTC without help for about 2 months and I knew I would need help so I decided to see my doc and he didn't hesitate to help me at all.
hoping this will be my month but I don't have my hopes up to high!

I was also diagnosed in 2002. I'm on metformin 500 mg 3x day. Clomid never worked for me. Did my first round of injectables and worked for us. I'm now 6 weeks along and going in for my first ultrasound next Thursday.
I was just diagnosed with PCOS on Tuesday. I have been trying to conceive for about 5 years now, with no luck. My doctor did some blood work on me, and awaiting the results. He went ahead and wrote me a prescription for birth control, but that is it. I have never had a regular cycle, and sometimes miss them. It has been so stressful, especially with no insurance until now. I am hoping and praying that getting my cycles regular will help!! Any other recommendations until then?
Hi there!
I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years ago. The only time I have a period is with birth control or if it's induce with provera. I'm currently on my 5th round of clomid. I did three rounds of 50mgs (clomid) and last cycle I did 100mgs with 500mgs 2x a day of metformin. This cycle I've increased the metformin to 1500mgs a day and will still be on 100mgs of clomid (I actually started clomid yesterday).
Finished my 3rd round of clomid last night! I will be starting to take metformin 2x a day starting tonite. I was taking 1x a day
Hope I O this Month!
Good luck!!
Are you taking OPKs? I've read that OPKs don't work properly with PCOS, have you or anyone else read or heard that too?
