Left ovary feels larger and tougher then my right ovary

During my period my left ovary got really sore, I was a little worried so I told my best friend and she told me that she gets the same thing so I decided not to worry. But I've noticed the past week that my left ovary feels tougher and larger then my right. The soreness is gone though and I don't feel sick or anything. Could it be because I have PCOS? Should I be worried?

I would get a pelvic exam & an ultrasound. I had two pelvic exams & was told everything was fine. And when I had the ultrasound they found I had an enlarged ovary & one small cyst on each ovary.

Its safer if you get checked up now cos there could be complications later on. Good luck

You should go 4a check up. I dont want 2alarm you but i had the same thing. Painful period that lasted longer than suposd to. And a definite difference betwn my ryt and left side. So went 2my gynae and they found an ovarian mass, i lost my left ovary as a result. I think u should definitely go. Plse let me know how your apointment goes. Take care
