I too have been trying for almost two years, so you are not alone! from everything i have read and been told by my doctor, who i love, diet and exercise are the very best things you can do to help manage your symptoms of PCOS and help you conceive.  I have insulin resistance but I am not overweight so I don't need to lose weight, but I did have to realize that because of my condition I need to go on a diet...one that will give my body the fuel it needs to function properly.  i found two books that have really helped me understand how insulin resistance and PCOS affect me and how I can take control and manage my symptoms...and hopefully get pregnant soon.

Two books i would really recommend are called "The Insulin Resistance Diet" and "The PCOS Workbook".  I hope this helps!

If you have PCOS there is a very strong chance you may also have insulin resistance.  Have you ever been tested for that?  Since you say you tried clomid I am assuming that you are trying to concieve?  What are the PCOS symptoms that you are trying to manage, or what is your goal of managing symptoms (are you trying to get pregnant, lose weight, get rid of unwanted facial hair/acne etc?)
