Plz help

I am a 27-year-old female.  I eat healthy and get a typical amount of exercise. For the last 3 years my period randomly shows up anywhere between 2-4 months apart, along with sever migraines.  I have tried regular pain relievers (Aspirin, Advil, Tylenol) but they don’t work....the only thing that helps is a Tylenol 3...but it makes me pretty sleepy..and a bit dumb.  I continually get the migraines anywhere from 2-3 weeks before my period and sometimes they last for a couple days. My period is extremely heavy the first few days (A tampon only lasts an hour or so) and it lasts for 7 days.  If I attempt to have sex and reach orgasm, I get crippling cramps, to the point where I almost lose all bodily function and have to camp out on the bathroom floor in a fetal position.  I have a very low sex drive and I am not currently taking the pill.  I do not have a doctor where I live and I don't trust anyone at the walk-in clinic.  The doctors there don't even care and just want to get you in and out as fast as possible.  Please can someone tell me what is happening to me?

Correct. Nobody on here are doctors, but we can give you our opinons. I suggest to find a doctor ASAP to get this under control. I also suffer from migraines (not period related) but you may need something along the line of Imitrex to ease the pain away and something like Inderal LA to control how many migraines you get. I've been on Inderal LA for over 5 years now and been a suffer since I was 15. As far as your gyn issues, you need a doctor. They need to run tests on you to confirm what you are dealing with. I know how you feel on finding a doctor, I had allot of issues with finding the right doctor. Going to the ER or hosiptal will not help, unless your in bad pain because most hosiptals do not know much about gyn issues and PCOS. There are a number of things you may have. Anything from PCOS, ovarian cysts, endometious, so you must get checked out as soon as possible.

Hi there, unfortunately we cannot tell exactly what is happening to you without lab work. You should seek a doctor, even if it is not easy! What you are describing could look like PCOS - but it could also be many other things, there is no telling without investigation. You don't have to continue untreated, you are young and you should be enjoying yourself. With proper treatment, those symptoms you are describing will most probably go away. I used to have horrible symptoms with my menstrual cycle, before I was diagnosed and put on BCP. You must understand that there hormonal imbalances can result in serious health threats, so seek help! Is there no way you can go to a nearby clinic? Do you have medical insurance? I'm not sure where you live - here in Europe you'll get free lab work for most of the hormones -with medical insurance.
