Laser hair removal, expensive but the only thing that works permanently, even if you cant change your diet or lifestyle on your own!
What worked for me in the past was going on a low carb diet. It helped me lose weight and that helped me ovulate again. Try it. Good luck.
what can i did with my hair under my chin i have had pocs for 3 years now and i still dont no what it is my doc want help they say just go on a deit but i need help lots of it help!
I have had that physicians that don't understand PCOS often say certain things won't help. Yasmin, a diet of lean protein, minimal complex carbs and minimal fruit is working for me. My elevated testosterone level and mood swings are finding much comfort with Yasmin. Don't give up until you find someone that will listen! Believe me you will be happy that you did. I wasn't getting far with my health care provider, but I found a medical group in my area that was conducting a study on PCOS and without paying anything gave me great advice, did some blood test and helped me to fight my medical providers nonchalant attitude :-)
thank you i will go to the doctor but when i went befor they didnt really help they just said lose the weight and medication wounld'nt help.
You should see the doctor and ask him what kind of medication he can put you on that would help with the symptoms and weight gain. For me, what has worked in the past is a low carbohydrate diet and exercise. Having PCOS does make you gain weight, but at the same time, if you lose the weight (I know it's hard) it helps you start ovulating again and control the other symptoms.
no im not on medications and what can i take and i try diet but cant keep it of
Having PCOS affects the hairgrowth in the face and other places of the body. Your hormones are inbalanced and unfortunately, women with PCOS end up with more male hormones; that is why we get increased hairgrowth. Are you taking medications to help control PCOS yet? Maintaining a healthy diet and exercising also helps. Good luck.
