pcos and preggo

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have pcos. I know googling can be your worst enemy but....has anyone with pcos had a major problem miscarrying? If you have any advice I'd love to hear it!

I agree with the previous post! But it could increase the chances of gestational diabetes! So be careful with diet and get your walking in! Happy healthy 9 months and congrats!!

Hi,
PCOS will not increase the chances of miscarriage if proper precautions are taken. Adequate rest, healthy diet, and taking of prenatal vitamins will minimise the risk. Also drugs like uterine relaxants which will prevent a miscarriage. Progesterone support for the pregnancy will help the pregnancy grow properly. Consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation.
