please someome give me some feed back!! do i have pcos?

Every since i've stared my peroid i' ve had nothing but problems with it, i would sometimes skip periolds, would be on my period for a few weeks at a time or just keep spoting off and on. it never was a big deal to me i mean there was sometimes where my period was fine but now im 22 years old and i stated spoting dark red blood on oct. 4 i spoted all that month i only stop spoting for 5 days out of that month but the days where not together. Then in November i did the same as last month only stoping for 7 day not together. In December and all the way untill know jan.7 i have been on my period non stop and this time it's just red blood and mid. to a heavy flow.Im now starting to worrie about it. i havent went to the dr. cause i dont have insurance right now so i've been waiting untill i can get it. I started to do research on the computer and found pcos (polycystic ovary syndrome) so im thinking thats what i have because i have the signs of pcos. And know im sooooo moody every little thing gets to me all i keep doing with my husband is fighting, and now im starting to feel so tired and my body is weak. so my questions are do you think i might have pcos? does pcos cause moodiness? why do i feel so weak and tired? And is being on my period for more then 4 months should i be worried, can that make me have any bad health problems? and is it ok that im waiting to go to the dr. or not a good ideal i just dont want nothing bad to go wrong while waiting. And im scared that i maynot be able to get pregnent please can anymore help me! thanks

What other PCOS symptoms do you have? Do you have excessive hair growth or weight gain as well? If left untreated, PCOS can lead to diabetes, but it's too early to think that far ahead.  You're still young and if you do have PCOS, it's treatable. I know how hard it is to have to see the doctor and pay out of pocket. I had to do it myself. But you'll rest easier if you do go. Try going at least a couple of times so you know if you have cysts in your ovaries. If you're lucky, you'll only have to go once just to find out. My doctor ordered an ultrasound and I had it done on the very first day I went. If you have cysts, I'm sure that you'll be okay; they're common and are mostly benign, even when complex.
Women with cysts and/or PCOS can still conceive, you just need to prepare your body with the right hormones and tell your doctor so he can put you in the right treatment for the cysts, if you have any. I hope you see the doctor soon. You need to be diagnosed so you know what the next step should be. Don't worry too much about it, it's nothing rare and you can still have a baby :) Good luck!.

hey babe
i have poly cystic ovaries and something called endometriosis..and i am also 22!
if u have really painful periods.. and i mean painful, then ask your doc about endometriosis. that can cause irregular cycles- and hormone changes which lead 2 moodiness!
if not- poly cystic ovaries are typical of moodiness lol. also can make you feel weak and out of energy because it makes u have a low metabolism. can also cause excess body hair and trouble with shifting weight etc..and yeah irregular periods. sounds like PCOS.
the docs will give you blood tests to check your hormones, and  then probably refer you for an internal scan at the hospital so they can look at your ovaries and diagnose you. u can do lots of things to help it like taking insulin lowering tablets which will lower the testosterone you are producing, n will improve all ur symptoms. good luck!! xxx
