will I ever be pregnant???

Dear all,
I have been diagnosed with PCOS last year november. ince then i have been on treatment. I was taking Diane 35 to regulate my period. I have recently shifted to a new place. My doctor here have asked me to discontinue taking the pills and try for pregnancy. since I was on pills I don't have an exact length of my cycle. previous to the treatment I had irregular cycle. I discontinued using diane on 2nd of november. I had withdrawal bleeding on 8th november. This month I noticed very scanty bleeding from 2nd dec. which is quite early and with severe PMS. HPT was neg. I don't know what to make out of it... I was told that I am not ovulating and was asked to use clomiphene to get pregnant by the previous doctor. If I am not ovulating, then is it not a frutile attempt to get pregnant naturally?????....what should be my line of course??...Any advice is truly welcomed.

I didnt like the temps. But I didnt use a site chart to tell me whats going on. And that probably would have changed things. I was always left asking myself if it could be it if it changed alittle.

You can chart your temps too. Google online charting temps & pick a site you like to assist you. It's interesting to see how your body temp changes. It gets you more "intune" with your body.

Also see if you can go to a specialist. I was able to see a infertility specialist w/out a referral & they were more aggressive with treatments & more sympathetic.

I have gotten pregnant 3 times all w/out meds, but also suffered 2 miscarriages. Our hormones are all wacky & the meds help regulate us & help us with the timing.  Cuz w/out meds we can never be sure when we'll ovulate, could be right after our period or weeks later, & that's is we even get a period. But I do want to say it is possible bcuz I have a healthy 9 year old. Don't give up hope, & stay positive.

It can give some people false results. But even your dr will tell you to use them. I never got a false result. And havent heard of anyone else getting one. Its just on there just in case. But for the most part yes they do give you good results. And I would get the digital ones, like clearblue easy. This way your not always thinking if the line is darker or lighter. You will get your happy face when its positve. Good luck and you can ask your dr for a 21 day progestrone check to see if you ovulating through a blood test.

It is VERY possible for us with PCOS to concieve. But almost impossible to concieve naturally. without any medication to help with ovulation, we may not ovulate for months or a year or more. So you should talk to your dr about provera to help get your cycle and metformin to help with trying to get pregnant. And clomid or another drug to help you ovulate. Without ovulation your not getting pregnant. But there are alot of options out there these days to help those with PCOS. I tryied the clomid for a few months and did not work for me. So I have moved on to IVF and am hopeing it will work. Im finally ovualting. Theres ovarian drilling. And iui. And others. I think the best thing for you to do is to talk to your dr and look up all the info on PCOS you can so you know what choices you have. Dont give up hope YOU CAN GET PREGNANT! It just takes patients and help from you dr. Good luck with everything.

I to have pcos, and as your old doctor might have told you, it will be hard for you to have kids. I know my doctor told me there's only a 90% chance for me to have kids.. So u really need to talk to your new doctor, and tell him/her that u want kids.

Have they checked your progesterone levels to see if your ovulating?  Or even temping or OPK's?  If not they can't know that your not ovulating.  Clomid can help you ovulate, but you should also be on metformin to help regulate your hormones.  It is possible to be pregnant but if you just had spotting on the 2nd it would be too soon to test, assuming the possibility that it could have been from implantation you would need to wait 14 days after that so the 16th of december to test.  good luck hun.
