Confused!
Hello! I was wondering if PPD could devlope into something different? I've been treated with sertraline 150mg for 8 months now but I feel like I'm getting worse! I have recently noticed that I've been going through periods of highs followed by a longer period of lows, I'm wondering if all this time I've thought it was PPD but infact it was something else..... Bipolar?

The best thing you can do is speak with a doctor about how you are feeling.  I get PPD after each baby.  But I only have to take meds until I am feeling better.  A couple of months of the meds and I am feeling "normal" and then I stop taking them.  If you feel you are getting worse, I would def speak with your doctor.

Good luck!
