Miralax works well. I feel as though if you really haven't gone in 3 weeks ur dr. Should be taking it a little more seriously1
I've tried to eat greens but I've had no improvement. There's not too many places nearby to get soothies. I'll have to try the mirelax! I'm going crazy and even though the castor oil helped I don't want to take more of the castor oil because of finding out it could risk the babies health.
I am having the same problem the doctor told me to take stool softener and milk of magnesium (which is OTC).
Drink peppermint tea (caffeine free), collard greens ALWAYS work especially since I've been pregnant, the collards hit me almost immediately. Make sure you are eating plenty of whole wheat, and fiber.
I have issues having bowel movements, take miralax but do it twice or even three times a day, that should help move things a long. I've always suffered from constipation since I was little and using it once a day doesn't help me, so I was told by my Dr to try 2 or 3 times a day.
I found saltana bran did the trick ..everymorning about half hour later work so a treat good luck
Smoothie king has become my best friend lol ! They also helped me regulate my bm's as well!
Veggies really helped me. Especially the green ones. Broccoli was my best friend in my first trimester. Also mexican food or greasy foods made me have to go.
I agree with breonte22 no more castor. But you could try smoothies, prunes or raisin water. Prunes work for me but have them with some yoghurt or something as personaly I dont think they taste great.
I wouldn't take the oil again bc your still preggo , what works for me and greens ( green beans & spinach ) I eat that and I always go . Have you tried prune juice ? Miralax (spell check) also worked but it was like the next day and I went with no problem . I was put on iron pis as well && they suck
