I took a ept pregnancy test and the round part was negative faint blue I have not seen my period all month could I be pregnant?
I hate those tests, I could never tell. I finally went with a digital that told me for sure if it was positive, the e.p.t.'s are great.
I think that they mean if you see a vertical line at all....I don't think that the horizontal line would have any bearing because I think it always appears...I have had negative tests with just the horizontal line and no vertical...i have no idea, though. maybe buy another brand?
yeah i thought that too but when i post on yahoo answers they say things like " if you see a line at all it means it's positive"
i got the answer a lot : / because they were thinking of the two line test even though i said - or +
Lol. I think the most confusing part was posting the picture. Most people should (or at least anyone I've talked to) know what test you mean if you just say +/- test.
LOL no I thought the same thing when I first read it I was like...faint..negative..what...? and then I saw the test and I was like OHHHHH I get it....LOL but maybe bed's not a bad idea I think my brain's shutting down....
Anyway porshabeth I hope my first response helped because I think that's what you were asking :)
haha the one in the picture is a positive, i'm just explaining what kind of test it is.
I'm so confused. I don't see a faint negative. OH! Wow I'm slow. It's late. I think I should go to bed. Lmao.
no she's asking about a faint negative result on a different type of test not a faint positive...that's what I thought too at first I was like..wha? LOL. But i know what test she's talking about so I get it now.
Oh, I see what you mean...no. Even if the - line is faint as long as the control is dark, then the test worked properly and the test is negative. the only way you might be getting an early positive is if both the - line and the I line were faint, or the I line was faint with a dark - line... but with no I line and even a faint - it's a negative. It's still possible you're pregnant if you're testing early, but the test in this case would not indicate that likelihood. I hope that helps? I've used the + tests before too and I actually prefer them to the I I tests!
Any positive is generally considered to mean yes, you are pregnant, if it shows the positive in the time frame the test gives you. The chances of false positives are very rare because the hormone that a pregnancy test detects isn't present unless you're pregnant. (Or at least not in high enough quantities that a test would pick them up)
