Is it OK to dye my hair while I'm prego? Or should I wait till after? I am 26weeks! I want to get rid of all my blonde highlights & just dye my hair 1 color. Pls. Let me know if dying ur hair is safe.

Well since your close to third trimester it should be fine. I died my whole head a permanent hair colour but i asked the hairstylist for demi-permenant hair dye ( difference between that and regular die is theres no ammonia and it doesn't give off a heavy smell)

My doc told me "If it wasn't safe to dye your hair, there would be a lot of deformed babies"...... I took that as an okay, though I waited until my second trimester.

Most doctors say it's fine..my doctors have always let me, I've dyed my hair with both my 2nd pregnancy and my current pregnancy..I'm 26wks and just dyed mine yesterday :-).

You should avoid henna dyes and bleach, and look for "low-ammonia" dyes....if you're still worried, call your doc and ask for confirmation.
