FUN POST Now and Then!

Ok girls now we have all thought about what we would name our babies as kids, teens and adults. .....And we have all changed our minds!

So with this post everyone should think about the names they used to want (or still do) and put them down and then put down what names you have used for your kids or what you want to use currently!

I will give an example with mine!

When I was a kid I loved the name Alexis Rory and Connor
Then as a teen I decided I would name my kids Lana Jean, Maya Lynn, and Jayden Levi.
Now as an adult those names are out the window and I want to use the name Thea, Jocelyn and ...I am not sure about a boy. Funny how I always assumed I will have 2 girls and a boy! lol

Now what about you!? Any explanation for the names is awesome too!

I alway's said that if i ever had a boy his name would be Steven Michael LOL  my son is 8 and his name is Eric William!!!

As for girls names  i've always LOVED the name Sarah, and that is what we are going to be naming my little girl in about 9 1/2 weeks.

I loved the name Paige, but when my sister had my youngest niece, she couldn't think of a middle name, so I suggested Paige, and she used it.. That one is now off my list! ;)

I always loved the names Aiden and Brock for boys, but my friend had a baby 6 months ago, and named him Brock, and there too many Aiden's running around now.

I am due in January and so far my top picks for boys are:

Brayden & Carter

And for girls:

Ella & Piper

We shall see... I haven't gone name crazy and I honestly get really reluctant to share ideas because it is really hard to come up with something original these days!! AND everyone has an opinion, even negative! Anyway, that is where I am at right now w. the name game!

Well when i was a little girl i always loved the name Stephanie. Not anymore to common. I never really had a boys name.
As an adult i liked alot names, for alittle girl i loved Sophia, Camila, Danika. If we were having a girl her name would be Danika Maree, but we are having a boy. I always said that my little boys name would be Timothy, Why? My name is Eunice and in the bible Eunice is the mother of Timothy and i thought it would be cute and cool that Eunice will be the mother of a Timothy millions of years later again. So my little guys name will be Timothy Raul (middle name after his dad).

I never even thought about baby names until I was in my 20's so, I always liked Annalise, Sumara, Isabella and Ava my baby will be named Santana Michelle
I always thought that if I had a boy atleast the first one would be named after the father and then after that I dont know

I have wanted to name my first daughter Mikaela (or McKayla, haven't decided spelling yet) ever since I was 8 when my sister was almost named that.  So if we have a girl it will be Mikaela Joanne (after my grandmother who passed).  Before I got pregnant, but was married, my husband and I talked about Diego.  I like the name Christian but he doesn't.  But now that I am pregnant, I'm like "Do I really want to name my kid Diego?"  So we have thought of a few other names but it's done to Diego or Elijah if it's a boy (middle name will be my hubby's name).

As a teen, a boyfriend and I came up with the name Logan Davis for a boy. I've also liked the names Melody, Laurel, Iona, and a bunch of others.

We ended up naming our daughters Elaina and Abigail.

We have the names Zoe Beth, Caiden Isaac, or Hunter picked out.

Well...I always wanted to name my baby boy Diego or Gabriel (pronunciation in Spanish). But my dad named my little brother Diego after I told him I liked that name.
But then I had a boyfriend named Ian and I love that name (don't like him much anymore) and my husband always wanted to name a boy Henry after his grandpa, I think that Ian Henry goes perfect but it would be kind of awkward to name muy kid after an ex. I also like Oliver ALOT but my husband doesnt like it.
For girl I love Ophelia, Diana, Sofia, Cecilia....and then I heard "Stella Blue" and I love that one too.
Its tough...my husband and I discuss names for fun eventhough I'm not pregnant yet.

Well, I haven't really thought about names until I first got together with my hubby.

Girls
Laila Kayelynn - DH picked out the first name. Kaye is my mothers middle name and Lynn is his mothers middle name

Boys:
Landon Robert - Robert after his late grandfather.  He died in a horrible auto accident.
Otherwise we're trying to think of a clever middle name, similar to the girls.  His fathers middle name (Robert) my fathers middle name (Martin).  Should be fun!!

Well when I was in 5th grade 2 of my best friends and I had our own bathroom stalls that we used EVERYDAY when we went to the bathroom before recess.. Then one day one of my friends came up with the idea of naming our bathroom stalls our favorite girls names so my bathroom stall was named Victoria AnnaMae Brooke.. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK.. sorry but I do not like any of those names anymore. lol

The first time I got pregnant my boyfriend and I decided on Marshall for the babies name.  YUCK again!! lol After that we always kind of threw around a few different boys names but never "agreed" on one, I miscarried so after that we didn't really think much of it.

Our girls name has been Madalyn Mae since the first time I have gotten pregnant though and that still hasn't changed.  Our boys name a couple weeks ago was either Kobe or Noah and then I realized that I dont really want to name my baby any of those so I threw them out the window the other night when I found Jadyn in a baby names book..

So Baby's name is Jadyn and thats not changing.. I just need a middle name :D

I only know one Mikeala, but her name is actually spelled michael with an a at the end. Funny thing is I actually got a job at a Dream Dinners that just opened and I later found out that my boss was her older sister lol.

I didn't really think about names when I was younger.  I started when DH and I were dating.  

For a boy we have the names Reece Hewitt (Reece is my maiden name and Hewitt and DH's father's middle name) and Braden Thomas (nothing special, just love the names together) picked out.

For a girl we have names Emma Grace and not sure about a second.  I do know that I want to use Elaine (after my mom) for a middle name.

I guess I should have explained mine..When I wanted to name my daughters as a teen I was using Lynn and Jean. Jean is my grandmother's middle name and my mom(who is her daughter) is Debbie Lynn...so its my mother's side names lol.. my other grandma's name is June and I am just not fond of it and I always call her nanny so...I always liked naming kids after family ones you love ya know?

Jame- My boyfriend wanted marshall BECAUSE OF eminem!! lol he used to be like obsessed with him.. ugh i cringe at that now.. Thats why I strayed away from Kobe sorry I dont want to name my baby after a famous person and then think back and wonder why I was so stupid years later.. Lol annamae isnt too bad but I know this fat little girl that is REALLY annoying named Annamae and that makes me not like it lol

Oh I know how you feel! I will never name any kid of mine Katie! lol There is this lil pudgey girl that is in love with my boyfriend because they had special ed together and he would actually talk to her ( I guess noone else really ever did) so she was all about him. She works at the grocery store by my house so whenever we go in there she always gets all (annoyingly)chatty with him and acts all cute lol and her name is Katie, so anytime I hear the name I think of her haha. He like...tries not to go into the line shes working at because she just gushes over him haha.

And personally, I hate eminem...I don't think he's talented at all and some of his songs are just stupid and immature...and violently disgusting..So no thanks to Marshall hah

It is very unlikely i will use any of those, during my last pregnancy we couldn't agree on any names but this time we are going to find out the sex and have a few names picked out and deciede at the time

when i was a kid, i never thought of names....
when i was 18, a super good friend was in a fatal wreck, so i decided boy or girl, the name would be Jerry Lynn for girl, Jerry Lee for boy.....

in 2004 when i became a cna, i soooo loved one of our patients names, katyrae....and i wanted that! i even asked how it sounded with my ex's name, and she said "good, but mine is better" lol.....i was changing it to katherine rae(call her katyrae), b/c my g-ma was katherine and she died in 2001 also.....

well, i've always liked alexander, so that's his middle name lol....chris loves it too, and now we've decided to name the baby Christopher Alexander.....same initials and 1st name as daddy, but he'll go by alex.....for a girl, we were going with elizabeth diana, which has a sad but funny story-when chris was 12 his mom m/c'd a girl, her name was to be elizabeth dawn(df's dad is don).....well i thought elizabeth went well w/abigail(df's daughter), and i picked diana after MIL....then i get told by MIL that she'd LOVE that name, as that had been her pick.....when i told her about the diana part, she was surprised i think, but i know she liked it!!!!

When I was younger for girls I liked the names Hannah, Cheyenne, Anna, April and Brianna, for boys I liked the names Lucas, Scott and Aiden.

Now (although i'm not actually pregnant), for girls its Madelynn Avery and Hayley Isabella and for boys its Graysen Peter, the Peter is after my father who passed away when i was 10, and I want to use Henry as a middle name if possible Im just not sure what would go with it as a first name.

idk what I used to want for a boy. I think Cole or something that. Karissa Anne was always my girl name.

And of course the cake topper: DH wanted to have that rapper Eminem's real name as our first son's name! (this was about 4-5yrs ago!)

and now.... my sons name is kerby dylan (kerby after my hubbies father who passed 14 years ago) and if i have a girl in the near future i want to name her either khloe delayne or    larryn jolee (larry after my dad, jo after my MIL, and lee after me and hubby since both our middles names are lee) and if i have another boy his name will most definetly be kyler preston (preston after my dad) okay i think i may have complicated everyone! just read slowly and you'll understand everything .......LOL!!!!!!!!

i like the name  realynn....i actually worked with a girl named rayanne realynn and her younger sisters name was autumn ryeland ......i would have still named my first daughter capri if my SIL hadn't decided to name her daughter diamond capri.....i also picked out joshawa kerby  (after dh's brother and dad who both passed when he was very young) for my son but my SIL used joshawa jagger for her son from now on i am not going to tell her what i plann to name my kids! LOL!!!

When I was a teenager I used to say that I wanted to name my kids after presidents.  It just happened to work out that all of the names I liked were from presidents.

Boys - Carter, Reagan, Jefferson

Girls - Kennedy, McKinley, Taylor

Now I am naming my little boy Landen Scott and if he was a girl he would have been Lilly Grace.

ok so girls names were always ready for me

girls: Josephine Alona (after 2 great grandmothers) Jocelyn Anastasia, and Lorelei Rose (after DH's mom and grandmother ) if i am having a girl now it will be Josephine Alona with maybe on more middle name as the DH's grandmother is currently unwell and will pass on soon..

As for boys this has been the battle of the century with the DH and I
if we have a son now its Giovanni David.
if i have my way my next son will me Gabriel Michael, Or Jackson Daniel....
