I had it when pregnant with TJ... :) It happened ALOT in the beginning when I felt him moving! lol
Great thanks - I am glad to hear that there are other people with the same thing and that it is nothing major to worry about.... for now...
I had this when i was pregnant with my daughter. When i spoke to my doctor about it she told me that it was perfectly normal and that it was just her muscle and nervous system developing. At that point that just don't really have control over there body all of the time. It was very scary, but once i found out what it was it made a lot of sense. My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and she still has spasms sometimes when she is sleeping!
Anybody have any more stories on this subject? This has started to happen to me and I am quite scared... although I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get some answers.
my baby does that sometimes, I dont think its seizures just some strange movement
aahhhhhh the question answered! omg when i feel these, i'm like wt* is he DOING in there? and then i'd go looking for my cell, thinking it was on vibrate, or that maybe i was sitting on chris' cell lol.....
mine aren't so much a "spasm" as it really felt like it was a cell or pager vibrating.....
okay see that is much more explainitory...thank you ladies definatly put my mind at ease... :)
I know what you're talking about and I vaguely remember it. It's like a twitching right? Like when you have a muscle spasm? Totally normal!
I sure hope it made some sense, because after reading the post myself...I was quite lost lmao.
Oh thanks BTS that makes much more sense.. lol
It's def the baby doing it. They aren't having seizures really, but they do have the same movements like they were, The way my doc explained it was.....their having a *physical* siezure, but without the mental and emotional affects of a real seizure. It's just the baby's nervous system firing all at once since the nervous system is busy growing, and from time to time they will get the jerking/vibrating movements but they don't have any ill effects from it.
Hope this helped, and wasn't to confusing lol
I felt that in the bottom of my uterus during my labor contractions too.. i chalked it up to him like.. sliding down into place and the friction.. maybe it's friction?.. lol like rubbing two balloons together... Haha I have no idea.
alright well at least both your sons came out okay...so that makes me feel a lil better bout my lil man
I woke up in the middle of the night with that with my son. It was a little scary. i remember havign the "seizure" question myself, but my son was fine, although I can't tell you what it is.
Oh man I felt that before it really flipped me out.. Can't tell you what it is though.. :/
My son came out perfectly fine if that makes you feel better at all.
