K this is kinda scaring me..anyone else get this??

Ok i am sure this is going to be one of the most out of whack questions but i need to put my mind at ease. Some times while i relaxing i will randomly feel this vibration movement in my stomach....now i dont know if its the baby thats doing it or if its my actual stomach. Its not possible for the baby to do that right? like a fast vibrating sensation??they cant have like seizures in you can they? I know i am probably over thinking this because everytime i go to the hospital everything with my lil one is great. I am just so nervous...ladies please put my mind at ease and let me know what you think it is. thank you

I had this when i was pregnant with my daughter.  When i spoke to my doctor about it she told me that it was perfectly normal and that it was just her muscle and nervous system developing.  At that point that just don't really have control over there body all of the time.  It was very scary, but once i found out what it was it made a lot of sense.  My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and she still has spasms sometimes when she is sleeping!

Anybody have any more stories on this subject?  This has started to happen to me and I am quite scared... although I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get some answers.

aahhhhhh the question answered!  omg when i feel these, i'm like wt* is he DOING in there? and then i'd go looking for my cell, thinking it was on vibrate, or that maybe i was sitting on chris' cell lol.....

mine aren't so much a "spasm" as it really felt like it was a cell or pager vibrating.....

I know what you're talking about and I vaguely remember it. It's like a twitching right? Like when you have a muscle spasm? Totally normal!

It's def the baby doing it. They aren't having seizures really, but they do have the same movements like they were, The way my doc explained it was.....their having a *physical* siezure, but without the mental and emotional affects of a real seizure. It's just the baby's nervous system firing all at once since the nervous system is busy growing, and from time to time they will get the jerking/vibrating movements but they don't have any ill effects from it.

Hope this helped, and wasn't to confusing lol

I felt that in the bottom of my uterus during my labor contractions too.. i chalked it up to him like.. sliding down into place and the friction.. maybe it's friction?.. lol like rubbing two balloons together... Haha I have no idea.
