I ate bags and bags of them xD I craved them badly I washed the salt off them so I wouldn't get too much sodium in my system :) and im planning on bringing a bag this wed for my induction!

Salted pistachios contain only about 100 mg of sodium per oz, which isn't a lot, actually. Recommended limit of sodium is 2,400 mg per day. Pistachios taste salty because the salt is on the surface of the nuts. Bread actualy contains much more salt but you don't taste it so much because it's inside the bread.
Few years ago, salmonella was found in pistachios on one farm, but the actual salmonella poisoning from pistachios has never been confirmed, as far as I know.
