I had it in the same spot when I was pregnant the last time. I went to a pregnancy massage specialist. I'm sure there was more to it, but it seems like all she did was rub my belly like a fortune teller ball. Whatever she did worked...
place one of your right ancle...ignore that! I was going to say one of your ancles on your other knee but that sounded confusing! lol
My dad has problems with that all the time. Of course hes not pregnant but he says to sit down and place one of your right ancle on your left knee. Then bring your left leg up as far as you can. It relieves some pressure for him. Almost like your sitting with your legs crossed. My mom was having back pain and he told her to do that and it helped a bit so maybe it will work for you!
Thanks it hurts so bad i will have to see what my insurance covers. Thanks to everyone.
They be able to help you i suffer with siatica really bad have done for years.when i first had it it was major pain, couldnt walk properly,or sit.in fact couldnt do sod all.i went to a back specialist, they have this bench, which they strap your ankles in then they slower tilt the bench back, wow what a feeling its such a relief,it opens up your spine.they dont tip you right upside down, just at a angle.perfectly safe during pregnancy,i used it twice a week when pregnant with my son,its only for about 10mins,but honestly it works.you shouldnt try any home remedies until you been checked out,
Thanks I just spoke to my doctor and they want me to go to physical therapy a couple of times a week!
I had about two weeks of terrible sciatic nerve pain. Thankfully mine went away but I know that some women's pain doesn't go away. I don't have too much advice other than massaging. DH would massage my lower back, butt (hehehe!), and legs. Good luck to you!
Thank you all. I appriciate it I will try these suggestions and let yall know! Thanks Agian
There are times I can barely walk because it and even laying down hurts...I just put up with it because I have no clue what you can do about it. I try to make the baby move, and sometimes that helps...but I think I am going to try what LRBee suggested. Can't hurt! =) Also...maybe a nice massage from your hubby will help??
I have herniated disks at L1, and S1.. So I know actually what you are going threw, I have to lay on my side for hours and stay off your feet. I try to get everything done first thing in the morning that has to be on my feet, just try and stay off your feet. Put a pillow under your knees to take pressure off your lower back, and this may or may not work. But I lay on the floor, and my hubby will take my ankles and gently pull back on your leggs, this is a traction that elongate the spin. Just stay on your side as much as possible and if you switch sides you may rock the baby to another position. But otherwise, just dont let it get to you, there is nothing you can do, and it will go away.. Breath threw the pain, and relax as much as possible. Good Luck
I heard that if you get on all fours for a few minutes it will take the pressure off the sciatic nerve and should give you some relief!
I had it with my son, but I had it in my upper arm/shoulder/neck area. It was bad. It would just come for a few days and then go..
