so this is a sign that my cevix is ripening right? I see my obs doc today and im having alot of pain so im wondering if i tell him will he check to see if im making any progress!??

drink lots of water - if it is false labor - contractions/cramping should subside with lots of H2O and laying down.  

I am kind of jealous - we are the same timing (I am 37 weeks 2 days) and I haven't had anything like that - just some cramps/contractions that come and go.  AHHH - You're going to go before me and I am JEALOUS!   I want this little guy to come out - he doesn't have any more room in there to grow!  Everytime he moves, I have to pee and that is no joke!

ok so the bath didnt help any..actually when i got in i started to get hard tightening instead of just the pain in my back!! lol..well see..only a couple more hours until doc..update then!

ok so the pain has gone into my back now..im going to go take a bath and see if it subsides!! ?? Just a question if its a little higher then my lower back and on my left side can it be a kidney or something?? The pain is coming and oging tho!

well i have been having spotting sence last weekend!! Its not alot tho..just little bits at a time..the baby has been dropped sence like week 32 and i have been losing pieces of my plug sence about 28 weeks!! And the energy thing well yeterday i cleaned my car !! I just was like hey i think ill clean my car and did it!! so theres that and me and the df did it yesterday (but the spotting was sat night not after so i know it wasent from us doing that) and ever sence last night i have been having alot of menstural cramping that sorta eases as i lay down but the min i get back up it hurts again!! SO im not quite sure what is happening..Also alot of pain in my hiips....thinking maby baby is getting excited!! lol...Lets hope i am making progress and when i see the doc he checks and says hey your like 3 cent!! lol...Fingers crossed ladies?? BUt does all this sound like labour though??Or more of a false labour!!

He ought to check you if you have the spotting and the pain. It sounds like you are in the first stage of labor. The spotting sounds like the bloody show. Keep in mind that the appearance of this show is a sign that you are dilating and that your body is preparing for labor. Usually it means that labor will start in the next 24 hours, but it could still mean that labor is a few days away.

Have you had any other prelabor signs such as
- baby dropped
- change in energy level, mood, habits (with my first I cleaned the whole house top to bottom with wonderful cleaning tools such as a toothbrush)
- Lose of mucus plug
- Increased contractions (you should probably be timing these every so often)
- Increased pelvic and rectal pressure (often described as menstrual like cramping)

How exciting. I am 32 weeks preggo. I had my DD around week 37, so I figure I may go a bit early this time around too. I remember the show freaked me out the first time around this time, I'll know when I see it that it is almost time. :)
