Strep b test

So I took my test yesterday, has anyone got positive results and did it affect anything besides just taking the medicine during labor ??? Just nervous bout the results

Oh ok... hope it doesn't pain like the throat ..

I should really ask my dr would the antibiotics n injection cause any problems x

Strep b is a bacteria that some women have in their vagina. Not all have it. Completely different from strep throat

And it doesnt affect anyone/anything as long as you get the antibiotic during labor my dr explained it as being similar to dirt under your finger nails it doesnt hurt anything, some people have it some dont, and the only time it is harmful is when you put your nails in your mouth (comparing that to labor lol)

I had a strep throat while pregnant but didn't know Iwas ppregnant I took oral antibiotics and had injections of antibiotics....

I have strep b. I got the antibiotics both pregnancies and will again with this one. Its no biggie. Nothing that we can control and the antibiotic wont affect baby
