?Threatened Misscarriage

Hi

My last LMP was the 28th January I discovered that I was pregnant at should be about 7 weeks pregnant, most of the time my period is regular sometimes it is longer. About 5 days ago I noticed that i was bleeding it was light pink and I noticed it everytime after I went to the toilet, I went to the doctor my hormone level was tested and it had increased since my first test, the doctor told me to rest. I rested and it did not settle, on satuday i noticed that the bleeding got worse but still no pain, I went to the doctor again and she told me to have an ultrasound. The Ultrasound dated me at 5w and 3 days which was worrying because I should have been 7 weeks. I am still bleeding after 7 days sometimes its red, sometimes brown. I don't have any pain. I don't know what to do should I wait till my next ultrasound in 2 weeks should I go to the doctor again? I am so scared

Well this is my third pregnancy and I never had bleeding before until a month ago. It started off brown and turned red a couple of weeks later. There were blood clots with the red blood but no pain. My Drs said it was nothing to worry about, they have done a few U/s and dont know where the bleeding is coming from but said its not hurting the baby. So you probably would just need another u/s to ease your worry. They keep telling me since there is no pain there is nothing to worry about. Good Luck!

2 weeks ago I noticed alittle blood on the tp when I wiped and I went to the ER right away. They did a ultrsound and said "threathened miscarraige" meaning there is blood around the sac. It does somethimes lead to miscarraige but most women finish out pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby.

My doctor said it is common and about 25% of women go through it during the first trimester. It usually absorbs itself by the 2nd trimester. She did put me on bed rest for a few days and now I am on pelvic rest meaning no sex until my next appointment which is 2 1/2 weeks. Also she said try to take it easy. No heavy liftingor strenous work.

I would at least give you MD another phone call.  Let them know what is going on.  They may want to do another ultrasound or even send you for some bloodwork.  Sorry you have to go through this bleeding.  For some women it is normal to bleed during early pregnancy but I would just call you MD just to make sure.  Good luck.
