The First Response Early Response have been known to be MORE sensitive than some of the urine strip tests the doctors use. It wouldn't hurt to test on your own now and see what comes up. If it's a BFN, wait a week and try again!
thank you. it does help to get advice and be heard.
You yourself could test now but use an early results test but they probably won't test you until your a few days late. I know we don't like to test people until they are about 1 week late just to make sure we give everything enough time. You may have just ovulated a little later too. How long are your cycles usually? Mine were about 31-32 days and I only ovulated on like CD 17 most times where people with 28 day cycles ovulate CD 14. But I would test now if you think you may be and I would use a digital because there is no guess work in that. I used Clear Blue (I tested like 8 times with 3 different brands to make sure they were right haha). Then if that shows up positive call them and let them know you got a positive. If you get a negative then wait until you are due for your period and take another one. The first test that showed up positive for me was like 4 days before my period was due. I took one at 6 days and it was negative and I even used the 6 day sooner tests so you should be ok to test with one of those. Hope that helped.
i was supposed to start on the 16th of this month. but i started on the 6th. and it wasnt nearly as long or heavy as my normal periods are. so i should wait till around the 16th to get tested?
When is your period due? Are you late? It is possible to get some spotting when you are ovulating. Maybe you just ovulate later than what you thought. I would say to call them if your late for your period by at least 1 week because their tests may not be as sensitive as the ones you can buy in a store. I am 9 weeks pregnant and when I found out I was pregnant I used one of those 5 day sooner test from Answer and FRER. I got positives on those tests but I work at a doctors office and took one of their tests and kept getting negatives until about 1 week (maybe even a little more) after my period was due. So you can test at home with an early result test and if you get a positive call them or wait until about 1 week after your period is due to call them. Good luck I know this can all be confusing.
