Try using OPK tests to confirm exactly when you are ovulating and bed 2 days before, on ovulation and 2 days after this gives time for your partner to build sperm it also allows the sperm to wait for the egg being released and catching it after releasing if you get what i mean.
My partner thinks he has a problem and this is why we haven't conceived as yet we'll find out his results in just over a week. The good thing is and i'm sorry for saying it like this is since you've had a miscarriage you now know you can conceive and it is just a matter of time before you'll be telling us all you got your BFP again. Best of luck to you!!
Thank you for you input. I agree that I would never go back on Depo. It's very scary that a decision I made at 17 about trying to be resoponsible could cause so much trouble later on.
To give you all a little background. I got pregnant a few months back and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and now are ttc again. This only the first month that we have tried. I jsut want to be better educated this time.
I really appriciate all of the answers!
I was on depo for 2 and a half years came off it in August 2007 and have yet to conceive which is really frustrating i blame depo 100% as tests have showed there is nothing wrong with me and now my partner is going for tests.
My sister was also on the depo and had 2 shots so 6 months in total, she feel pregnant after 10 months with her 3rd though she conceived in the 1st month with her first 2 she also blamed depo for the 10months of ttc.
some people will be different but one thing i know for sure i will NEVER go back on depo again as long as i live best of luck to you though!!
I was on Depo in 2008 for six months, and did not concieve until 3 months after the 3rd shot was due. In total I had two shots, but then decided I want to try for a baby with my partner. Previous two pregnancies I caught straight away from trying, so it was strange to me not being able to concieve. Then I reasearched what could be wrong, and I also read all these awful stories about Depo ruining women's chances of concieving sometimes for up to 2 years after being on it. BUT the good news is 3 months later, we got our BFP, and so that proves at least some will be fine a few months after Depo.
I wouldn't worry too much, but I don't think I would ever use it again. I think it is a harsh form of birth control that can linger in the body for a while.
Good luck with the ttc.
