Hello,
Breast soreness during pregnancy or any other time is a sign of high estrogen levels. During pregnancy levels, however, progesterone should be higher and if not a miscarrage can occur.
Many women use progesterone cream to conceive as well as prevent miscarriage.
Thanks for your replies. My doctor's office called and told me that the doc said breast soreness comes and goes. She doesn't suggest any test or ultrasound at this point. In the past the doctor mentioned that breast soreness is a sign of increased estrogen. Currently i am using progesterone supplement, but i don't know if it helps to maintain the estrogen level. or what else can. anyway,i will try to relax and wati til my next doctor's appointment.
My breast tenderness came and went all throughout my first trimester.... Now I am almost 36 weeks and I have horrible pains... I remember thinking all the time that I was miscarring, due to the fact I had a early miscarriage month prior to finding out I was pregnant agian. I am sure everything is okay but if you are too concerned ask for a blood test and have your doctor moniter your Hcg levels.
BBQ~ Mine came and went also in the beginning, and then just dissapeared about 95% at around 14weeks. (it's normal I guess as your hormones are leveling off) I still get sore bb's sometimes... but not nearly as bad as the first couple months!
I miscarried early March and I distinctly remember a decrease in soreness as well as all of my other symptoms as well. Were you having any other discomforts that seem to be dwindling as well. Nausea, frequency of urination. It could also by the psychosis of the situation, you are close to when you miscarried last year. I have m/c'd twice once around 6 weeks and the other at 11 weeks. Currently I believe I am about 7 weeks, find out for sure next Tuesday. If you are really worried, you might ask the nurse for an appointment as a check up.
I have. My soreness came and went in the beginning. I am 37.5 wks now. I think all the early symptoms you have can kind of come and go. I understand your fear, though, because I miscarried once around 9 wks also and my symptoms suddenly went away one morning and I felt great. But try not to panic; it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. You could ask them to check your hcg and progesterone levels to make sure everything is as it should be. If your progesterone is low, they can give you a supplement. I wish you all the best!!
