is it more common for first time mothers to go over there due date? nurse mentioned this to me today at my apt. this is my first pregnancy and everyone is saying I'm not even going to make it to my due date. just wondering what others went through. I've had bh contractions but I know those are only practice. I don't know if I'm dialated or thinned or anything yet. get my next ultrasound and swab at my 36 week apt.

I had my first at 35 weeks. My second I was induced at 40+1. My first pregnancy was high risk tho since I had gotten a kidney infection that sent me into preterm labor at 25 weeks initially.

In my case yes, my 1st born was 6 days late, my 2nd was 2 days late and my 3rd was 2 days early so got earlier and earlier but everyone is different, i know a few first time mummys who have been early

I was 42 weeks ehen I delivered my first. My friend went two weeks early. Just depends on the person

It all depends, for most women... Yes, but I also know a lot of women that have had their first anywhere from 31-38 weeks!
