nervous....how to go from 2 to 3 kids?!?

I am starting to freak out. This is my 3rd child and I do remember how to take care of a baby. I'm freaking out because my second child is only 16 months (will be 17 months when DD2 is born). I am not sure how she is going to handle a new baby. I'm not even so much worried about that, I'm worried about myself. How will I be able to handle a almost 5 year old boy, a 17 month old girl, and a newborn. On top of that I am having a scheduled csection. My husband is only taking a week off of work because we can't afford him to take longer and he doesn't drive. So I will have to lug 3 kids in and out of a car alone when I have to drop him off at work. We really have no one to help us. We live about an hour from our families. I am lucky his aunt will be staying with us for when I am in the hospital to drive him and the kids back and forth from the hospital. Sorry this is more of a rant then anything else. I am just so done with being pregnant. Thanks.

you can do it. I have four kids the first two are spaced apart almost 3 years. but my last two are 11 months apart and I have no help from DH whatso ever:~( DH works alot trying to pay our bills so its always just me. He hasnt even changed a diaper on our last, she is now 12 months old. But thats a whole other story, lol. It will be hard but you will get by. I can garentee there will be days when you will fall into bed and never want to get up but there are so many great things about having a large family too. I cant think of any at the monent cause im stressed but I'll get back to you, lol! But I have no help from family or friends as far as babysitting . I think alot of it has to do with the fact that we have 4 kids too. So if I have a doctors apointment I drag all the kids with.
I personaly think going from 2 to 3 was the easiest but thats just my opinion. Good luck, I am sure you will do fine!!

I'm of no real help (I only have 2 kids, and they're almost 4 years old and 6 months old), but if it makes you feel any better, I've hard that going from 2 to 3 kids isn't that big of an adjustment compared to going from 0 to 1 child and 1 to 2 children.

You can do it....hang in there :-)

Im not going to lie, it is hard. My boys are 4.5, 2 and 4months. There is 20months between the last two.  I thought it would be easy...stupid me! lol....But Hunter the 2y/o wants my  attn. all the time, he gets very jelaous(sp). But def. he is getting better. We too had to find help with driving my DH back and forth to the hospital, luckly I only had to stay one day, would have love to stay another but it was to hard.....For the last few month I too have to drive DH to work and back.... I have only been out shopping with all 3 of them maybe 3 times, and it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be! lol Its not hard having 3kids For me its hard because how close in age the last 2 are.

I hear you... I am in the same boat.. I have a 7 year old a 6 year old step-son, both boys, and a 11 month old daughter and I am expecting another one in feb. my daughter and the newborn will be 15-16 months apart (we figure I will  go early). And I am scared out my mind about the age gap, I don't know how she will handle another baby around and if I will be able to survive two babies that close. We also have no close family near us they are also about an hour away.  And also on top of everything I think I am having twins I have a doppler and I keep picking up three heartbeats this last month. One is at 98 one at 130-140 and one at 160-170, it might just be in my head but I don't think so I haven't had an u/s since 8 weeks. But anyways I know how you feel and I think you can do it, well at least I hope . Good luck
