I have a ball python yes it's fine to hold your reptiles but be sure to wash your hands afterwards

My friend has a bunch of snakes and handled them every day during both of her pregnancies, due to her hubby being out at sea, she just washed real well after. Both her boys are great so is she. Just wash and you'll be ok.

I hold my snakes... lol I just wash my hands when I'm done, I mean I don't handle them as much as i used to, I used to wash them and what-not but I can't reach their tank any more. (Moved into my MIL, so the setup is diff) but if you handle them just make sure you wash up really good :))

You shouldn't handle them while pregnant they carry lots of germs and diseases that you are more prone to now since pregnant if you absolutely have to handle them wear gloves and make sure you was really good after with hot water and soap
